Background

Anders Ingemarson was born and raised in Sweden. He immigrated to the United States in 1994 and became a U.S. citizen in 2002. As an author, public speaker, and educator, he champions Enlightenment and Objectivist values: reason, rational self-interest, individualism, individual rights, limited government, and capitalism. His book Think Right or Wrong, Not Left or Right: A 21st Century Citizen Guide is now in its third edition.

His commentary on current events—framed through the lens of moral clarity rather than political partisanship—is available on his Substack (andersingemarson.substack.com). He has also been published in The Federalist, American Thinker, Real Clear Markets, and has made various media appearances.

Anders is a Research Fellow at Defenders of Capitalism, a Colorado-based think tank, and a graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies. He holds a B.A. in Economics, Finance, and Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and an M.Ed. in Montessori PreK-K Education from Loyola College in Maryland. Prior to his current work, he held management and specialist roles in finance, operations, and IT across global companies in agro-chemicals, retail, education, and telecommunications.
