About Objectivist Media Network

Objectivist Media Network is a platform focused on exploring contemporary life and culture through the lens of Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism.

Our central program is The Daily Objective, a live YouTube show that has been running continuously for six years. What began as a small daily discussion program has grown into a large archive of commentary and analysis on current events, philosophy, economics, technology, culture, and moral issues from an Objectivist perspective.

Alongside The Daily Objective, we produce several additional shows and media projects:

OUR SHOWS

The Briefly Objective

A short-form channel featuring clips and edited segments, primarily drawn from longer programs and adapted into more concise, shareable formats.

The channel is designed to make key arguments, discussions, and exchanges more accessible to wider audiences across social media and YouTube.

The Cultural Review

A channel dedicated to discussing television, films, literature, and popular culture from an Objectivist perspective.

Rather than treating culture as disconnected from philosophy, the show examines the moral ideas, values, and sense of life expressed through entertainment and storytelling.

The Cutting Edge

Hosted by Lee Pierson, Bob Subblefield, and Steven Richins, The Cutting Edge explores psycho-epistemology: how human beings form concepts, process ideas, think, learn, and integrate knowledge.

The show focuses heavily on the practical implications of these issues in everyday life, relationships, education, business, and personal development.

The Daily Objective

Our flagship daily show covering politics, culture, philosophy, economics, technology, and current events.

The show combines panel discussions, interviews, audience Q&A, and analysis of breaking news from an Objectivist perspective.

WRITING
& PUBLISHING

We also publish written content through our Substack.

While our focus in recent years has been heavily directed toward live programming and video content, we are currently preparing a renewed push into written publishing, with plans for new essays, commentary, analysis, and long-form writing connected to the themes explored across our shows and events.

Community & Membership Programs

Beyond public content, Objectivist Media Network runs a number of ongoing programs for members.

These include:

  • A book club focused on Ayn Rand’s fiction

  • A study group on the works of Leonard Peikoff

  • Workshops and interactive discussions

  • Topic-specific WhatsApp groups in which hosts and panellists from our shows participate in ongoing discussions with members

The goal of these programs is to create opportunities for sustained discussion, intellectual engagement, and connection with others interested in Objectivism and its application to the world around them.

Events & Live Discussions

In addition to its online content, Objectivist Media Network organises live discussions, workshops, meetups, and member events designed to extend conversations beyond the screen and foster an active intellectual community.

Many of the people involved in our shows also participate directly in these events and discussions, creating ongoing engagement between hosts, panellists, members, and audiences.

Continuing the Work
of ARCUK

Objectivist Media Network continues and expands upon the work previously done by the Ayn Rand Centre UK.

Many of the shows, discussions, and communities that began under ARCUK continue through OMN, alongside a broader range of media projects and new initiatives currently in development.

OUR PERSPECTIVE

Our work is rooted in Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism and its application to contemporary issues in politics, culture, ethics, psychology, business, and art.

Through live programming, written content, educational discussions, and community engagement, Objectivist Media Network aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of these ideas and their relevance to the modern world.
